In tai chi, realizations are one thing, follow through is another

Here is something you might notice by practicing tai chi. It goes kind of like this: Knowing can be made possible by our efforts, but realizations seem to come into our consciousness of their own accord. As though they are part of a conscience so much more expansive than our own that we can barely conceive of it. The interpretations and applications that we employ after that are our responsibility. Sometimes they lead off into personal attachments and end up defacing the original realization. These progressions are all part of the learning process. Openness to the impetus to learn is key.
